- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350˚F.
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together.
In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Beat until smooth.
Add the egg and vanilla to the butter/sugar mixture. Gradually add the flour mixture until fully combined.
Using a wooden spoon, add the chocolate chips.
Scoop tablespoon size balls of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake 8-10 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets, then trasnfer the cookies to cooling rack. Enjoy!
